Colton's Baptism

It was a great day. Colton was very excited and pretty nervous (for Colton).

Fishing on the Rio Grande

We went fishing down on V-hart the other day with the kids. It was a perfect day.

Natalia was the only one who caught anything. She caught this 4 1/2 pound carp (with a little help from her dad) and was pretty excited about it.

First Day of School

The boys were really excited for their first day...

Natalia, however, was a little sad to drop her brothers off.

Summer Fun!

This was during our trip to Idaho. We went to Silver City with Jeff's dad. Austin loved the water.

24th Pioneer Day Parade

Taylor was a Stripling Warrior on one of the floats.


Colton was Jonah sitting inside the whale's mouth. He thought it was great fun to be swallowed by a whale.

You can't see it very well, but the float says, "Serve, or be Swallowed".

Natalia stayed in the back of the van eating all the candy!

Pinewood Derby

Well, we survived our first ever (Jeff Weaver family) Pinewood Derby. Taylor's car took 2nd place and he got the "best designed car" award. Jeff and Taylor spent HOURS making the car. The white pin stripes kept bleeding so they had to sand it down and repaint it SEVERAL times. It was a great experience and we learned a lot. 4 days before the Derby--after the car was already complete-- we found a book at Deseret Book on "Pinewood Derby Car Secrets". It will be great for next year. I suspect by the time Austin gets old enough to race we'll have it all figured out!

Taylor's team in undefeated so far this year. We beat the "hard" team 22-11. It was a great victory!

The kids started swimming lessons last week. After they get through they get to swim for a while. Colton and Taylor take turns playing with Natalia while I watch from the side. Surprisingly she has not drowned yet!
